Job Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review and verification of inputs as per the project requirement.
- Knowledge and experience applying codes and standards such as CSA, API, ANSI and ISA.
- P&ID review with process team & Piping Team, updating necessary changes.
- Review vendor and existing drawings for design compliance.
- Preparation of Instrument Index and Instrument I/O list.
- Preparation of datasheet.
- Preparation of FJB interconnection wiring diagram.
- Preparation of Loop diagram.
- Preparation of Cable Schedule.
- Preparation of Instrument Location Plan.
- Preparation of Cable & Conduit tray routing.
- Preparation of Instrument Hookup drawings.
- Preparation Power Distribution.
- Preparation of PLC layout & IO Schedule.
- Preparation of Cause & Effect Diagram.
- Knowledge of various electrical components including MCCs, PLC equipment panels and motors.
Key Skills:
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Smart plant Instrumentation (Intools) software.
- Excellent computer skills including use of engineering and computer software to complete control valve, PSV and flow meter sizing.
- Specify and purchase field instruments including electronic and pneumatic transmitters, switches, meter-runs, analyzers, control valves and ESD valves.
- Requires a broad knowledge of the application of engineering to plant constructability as applied to construction methods and materials, and the economics involved.

Work Experience
Education & Personality:
- B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 2+ years experience in oil & gas.
- Should process good knowledge of industrial projects in Petroleum
- Should process good communication skills especially with technical experts
Good technical reasoning, analytical and monitoring skills
