What You Will Do:
- New part number creation activities in SAP
- Work with Material Master Creators
- Collaborate with Quality to ensure quality notes are added to the new PNs (Product Numbers) in SAP
- Support all other activities related to the set-up of new PNs
- Coordinate with the NPI Supply Chain contact to find suppliers to order engineering hardware and production hardware
- Track hardware, PO inputs, deliveries, and SO (Sales Orders) close outs
- Work with engineering team on other hardware activities
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum AS degree with 5 years of production support experience or equivalent
- BS degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required
- Experience with SAP, or other MRP system, strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus
- Strong communication, teamwork, self-motivation, and organizational skills
Pay Range: $75,000 to $95,000 per year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Rockford, IL.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.

What you'll do
- The Operations Lead Project Specialist will be responsible for new part number creation activities in SAP and collaborating with various teams to ensure quality and supplier coordination. They will also track hardware and support engineering activities.
