Job Requirements
Position:- Civil Designer.
Required Experience 15+ years
Job Location: Bangalore Chennai
Responsibilities:
- Civil & Structural quantities estimation
- Assessment of Geotechnical Studies and soil mechanics properties
- Site Preparation and earthworks
- Urbanization and Substructure
- Rainfall and Sanitary sewers & Ponds and sumps for water treatment
- Roads and pavements
- Piling and caps for equipment and structures
- Spread, Combined for Mat Equipment Foundations (Pumps, Exchanges, Columns, Horizontal and Vertical Vessels, Bins, Compressors, Turbo-Generators, Etc)
- Design calculation for response of dynamically loaded foundation
- Spread, Combined or Mat Foundation for Equipment Structures & Pipe racks
- Equipment Structures & Pipe racks (Steel or concrete)
- Prefabricated concrete structures
- Spread, Combined or Mat Foundation for Industrial Buildings and Offices
- Industrial Building (In some cases blast resistance) and Offices structures
- Approval: Structural steel shop drawings & joint calculation. Structural steel Subcontract management
Management Skills Required:
Civil Design Reviews
- Inter-Disciplinary design reviews and coordination meetings
- Guidance to designing team
- Planning, job delegation, progress monitoring and control
Software Skills Required:
- Smart Plan 3D and Smart Plan Review
- Frameworks
- Autocad
- PDS and/or PDMS are not mandatory but valuable
Work Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in SP3D and STAAD
- Strong understanding of design standards and engineering principles
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience Required: 5+ Years

- The Civil Designer will be responsible for civil and structural quantities estimation, assessment of geotechnical studies, and site preparation. They will also oversee the design and approval of various structural components and foundations.
