Key Responsibilities
Design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and tools using Python.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for new and existing products.
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using python
- Executing test suites, analyzing results and reporting to stakeholders
- Identifying documenting and tracking bugs
- Enhancing the automation framework for reliability, efficiency and robustness
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in automation best practices and Python development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, QA, product management) to define validation requirements and deliverables.
- Document automation processes, test results, and provide clear reports to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest automation technologies, Python libraries, and industry best practices.

Work Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product validation, test automation, or software development.
- Strong expertise in Python programming and automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.).
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable automated test solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hardware validation and automation in consumer electronics or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., Shell, C/C++, Java).
- Experience with cloud-based test infrastructure and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of test management tools and reporting dashboards.
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
