Technical Author & Process Analyst (Network Infrastructure)

The team ensures secure, scalable, and resilient connectivity across all regions and collaborates closely with Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering groups.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your Future Role within QRT</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>You will take ownership of the Network Infrastructure team’s documentation and process library within Confluence. The role combines technical writing, content governance, and process analysis to ensure clarity, consistency, and continuous improvement in how information and workflows are structured.&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Review and assess existing Confluence documentation to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;outdated, duplicated, or unclear content&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Redesign and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a logical structure for the Confluence space&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop and apply documentation templates, naming conventions, and style standards&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Rewrite and&nbsp;consolidate&nbsp;content to ensure technical accuracy and consistency&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Define documentation ownership and review cycles&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Create supporting visual materials such as diagrams and flowcharts&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work with Engineers and Project Managers to capture and document operational and delivery processes&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Identify&nbsp;inefficiencies and improvement opportunities within current workflows&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Contribute to the design and rollout of future-state processes&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain process documentation to reflect changes in ways of working&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your Present Skillset</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a Technical Author, Technical Writer, or in a documentation-focused role&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience documenting and improving technical or operational delivery processes&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong&nbsp;proficiency&nbsp;with Confluence, including content governance and structure management&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to understand and communicate networking concepts clearly&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience collaborating with technical stakeholders to capture and translate information accurately&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent written communication and attention to detail&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience leading or coordinating cross-team documentation or process initiatives&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Desirable/nice to have:&nbsp; <ul> <li>Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods</li> <li>Working knowledge of networking concepts (BGP, routing, firewalls, site connectivity)</li> <li>Exposure to workflow automation tools (e.g. Tines, n8n, Zapier)&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
