Engage with end users, application teams, and engineering teams to meet complex business requirements. This role involves both day-to-day support and project-based activities like new deployments, general administration tasks, and upgrades, working closely with engineering teams to enhance platform automation and monitoring initiatives.</p> <p><strong>Your future role within QRT:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be a key member of the infrastructure support team working with high-performance Linux-based trading and research platforms.</li> <li>Build, administer, upgrade, and support QRT's Linux estate.</li> <li>Contribute to monitoring and automation initiatives.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams to document and improve processes.</li> <li>Participate in out-of-hours work and an on-call rota (typically performed remotely).</li> <li>Leverage experience in Python and bash scripting.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Current Skillset:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience working with Linux-based platforms.</li> <li>Excellent Linux administration skills, with knowledge of RedHat, Centos, and Rocky.</li> <li>Experience with end-to-end server deployments.</li> <li>Proficiency in automation technologies (e.g., Ansible).</li> <li>Working knowledge of AMD/Intel server hardware and physical components.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Interest in technology and a willingness to learn.</li> <li>Ability to work as a team player.</li> <li>Working knowledge of server network stack, network protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP), LAN, and WAN technologies.</li> <li>Some experience with NFS/SAN systems is advantageous but not essential.</li> </ul> <p>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
