About this role

Quantum Machines (QM) is a global leader in control systems for quantum computing, a field on the verge of exponential growth. Our innovative hardware and software mark a groundbreaking approach in quantum computer control, scaling from individual qubits to expansive arrays of thousands. At the core of QM lies a passionate and ambitious team committed to reshaping the construction and operation of quantum computers. Our work is fueled by a deep understanding of customer needs, driving us to deliver unparalleled solutions in this revolutionary field.

The hardware development team spans two global sites – one in Tel Aviv and one in Copenhagen. The team is responsible for all hardware within QM spanning from room-temperature control hardware to our cryogenic QPU carriers.

We are looking for an RF & Electrical Integration Engineer to support the development and realization of cryogenic hardware through hands-on integration and fast proof-of-concept iteration. In this role, you will focus on translating RF and electrical designs into working hardware, supporting early testing, measurements, and troubleshooting across disciplines.

You will work closely with RF design, validation, and mechanical engineering functions to help reduce integration risk and accelerate proof of concept cycles. This role is well suited for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across boundaries and getting things to work in practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate RF and electrical designs into working hardware prototypes.
  • Support fast proof-of-concept (POC) cycles through hands-on prototyping, measurements, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify integration and implementation challenges early and help drive practical solutions.
  • Work closely with RF engineers and architecture to support the realization of design intent in physical hardware.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers on interfaces, physical integration, and practical realization of electrical and RF hardware.
  • Support early validation activities through measurement setup, execution, and interpretation of results.
  • Contribute to design and integration reviews with a focus on real-world behavior and practical constraints.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Background in RF, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with RF and electrical hardware integration and measurements.
  • Experience working from concept or simulation through prototyping and verification.
  • Familiarity with RF measurement equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ability to work effectively across disciplines and communicate technical constraints clearly.
  • Comfortable working in environments with evolving requirements and incomplete information.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with a practical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

What We Offer

A collaborative and hands-on engineering role focused on turning complex RF and electrical designs into working hardware. You will contribute directly to fast iteration cycles, help reduce integration risk, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team developing advanced cryogenic systems. The role offers autonomy, technical variety, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact during early development phases.

Preferred Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cryogenic or low-temperature hardware environments.
  • Experience using RF simulation tools to support concept evaluation or troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with electromechanical integration and physical interface constraints.
  • Experience supporting early-stage validation, experimentation, or POC development.
  • Experience working in small, cross-functional R&D teams.

What you'll do

  • The RF & Electrical Integration Engineer will integrate RF and electrical designs into working hardware prototypes and support fast proof-of-concept cycles through hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting. The role involves collaboration with RF and mechanical engineers to ensure practical realization of electrical and RF hardware.
