Role:  Senior Platform  Engineer 

Experience Level: 4-6 Years

Work location: Bangalore

What you’ll do:  

You will be working as a Senior Platform Engineer  within the healthcare domain, designing and delivering projects that are running across multiple geographies, helping healthcare organizations achieve their business goals with use of  data ingestion technologies, cloud services & DevOps. You will be working with Architects from other specialties such as Data engineering, Software engineering, ML engineering to create platforms, solutions and applications that cater to latest trends in the healthcare industry such as digital diagnosis, software as a medical product, AI marketplace, amongst others.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver automation software required for building & improving the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms

• Champion and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and mindset

• Design, architect, and build self-service, self-healing, synthetic monitoring and alerting platform and tools

• Automate the deployment and test automation processes through CI/CD pipeline (Gitlab, Jenkins,SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker containers)

• Build container hosting-platform using Kubernetes

• Serve as a mentor or guide for junior resources / freshers. 

• Lead the technical discussion with the clients regarding updates / risks / blockers, etc. Fluent in communication

Skill Expectations:

• Must have:

• Proficiency in deploying and maintaining Cloud based infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Good hands-on experience on Terraform

• Well versed with service-oriented architecture, cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns and frameworks. 

• Good knowledge of cloud related services like Compute, Storage, Network, Messaging (Eg SNS,SQS), App Engine and Containerization (Eg: Docker, Kubernetes) and Automation (Eg. CFT/Terraform).

• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.

• Experience in systems management/automation tools (Puppet/Chef/Ansible, Terraform)

• Strong Linux System Admin Experience with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Hands-on experience with languages (Bash/Python/Core Java)

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Gitlab, Maven etc)

• Experience integrating solutions in a multi-region environment

•  Leadership qualities

• Ability to lead technology teams and provide them mentorship / support to accelerate performance. 

• Experience in leading multiple large projects as well as a deep understanding of Agile developments

• Effective communication with all the stakeholders involved.

• Communicate clearly about complex subjects and technical plans with technical and non technical audiences.

Good to have:

• Basic experience and understanding of ML Ops

• Experience with Agile/Scrum/DevOps software development methodologies.
