Role:  AWS - Sales Leader (Bio/Lifescience)

Experience Level: 10+  years of experience selling services to AWS Bio/Life science clients & ecosystem

Employment Type: Full-Time with at least 50% travel

Work Location: East & MidWest US only

Role Overview:

Our AWS Business Unit is seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to drive our AI, data and migration professional services within AWS clients’ ecosystems, and has specialized expertise in the Bio/Life Science industry. This senior Sales individual contributor (IC) role, requires you to serve as a trusted advisor to Bio/Life Science Business and IT  leaders, leveraging our AWS core capabilities around data, AI, Generative AI, migrations, modernization and packaged solutions to address complex operational challenges and unlock new business value.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Revenue & Market Dominance

  • Spearhead high-impact sales campaigns targeting Fortune 2000 Bio/Life Science clients with multi-million dollar deal potential

  • Build and monetize C-suite relationships that unlock enterprise-wide transformation opportunities and recurring revenue streams

Position As The “Go-To AI”  Transformation Expert

  • Establish yourself as THE Bio/Life Science AWS authority - the first call executives make when planning digital transformation initiatives

  • Guide clients through game-changing AI and data modernization journeys that deliver measurable ROI and competitive advantage

  • Navigate complex regulatory landscapes to position Quantiphi as the trusted compliance partner

Maximize Pipeline Value & Accelerate Deals

  • Own the global Bio/Life Science pipeline - strategically balance quick wins with transformational long-term contracts across multiple regions

  • Master the art of expansion selling - turn every delivery success into cross-sell and up-sell goldmines

  • Orchestrate seamless sales-to-delivery handoffs that exceed client expectations and fuel referral engines

Architect Million-Dollar Solutions

  • Design bespoke AI-powered solutions that solve critical Bio/Life Science challenges and command premium pricing

  • Control the entire engagement lifecycle from SOW crafting to delivery oversight, ensuring client satisfaction drives contract renewals

Leverage Ecosystem Power

  • Partner strategically with AWS Business Unit Leadership to unlock exclusive opportunities and co-selling advantages

  • Mobilize Quantiphi's global expertise to deliver world-class outcomes that become case studies for future sales

Deliver Transformational Business Impact

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives that revolutionize Bio/Life Science operations through cutting-edge AI technologies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consultative selling to clients of AWS and/ or to Azure, and to GCP clients

  •  Minimum of 10 years of experience selling Cloud and/ or AI, Data, and similar Technology services/solutions to Bio/Life Science sector

  • Proven ability to originate and close complex six- and seven-figure services engagements within F2000  accounts

  • Strong record of C-level relationships, with the ability to influence senior Bio/Life Science stakeholders and build credibility as a strategic partner in highly competitive environments

  • Lead full lifecycle of AI projects including solution design, scoping, estimation, pricing, and SoW signature

  • Excellent understanding of modern Bio/Life Science  IT architectures, technology strategy, and digital transformation programs specific to this sector

  • "Ownership mindset" with strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial approach to solving Bio/Life Science industry challenges. 

  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Ability to navigate and collaborate with Quantiphi's Enablement functions and Delivery Tech teams across the globe.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Travel to client sites, Bio/Life Science sector and AWS conferences, plus other related events as required - up to 50%
     

Other Qualifications (OQs):

  • Experience working for/in a top tier technology Professional Services firm 

  • Familiarity with Bio/Life Science specific AI applications like predictive maintenance, network optimization, customer service automation, and fraud detection

  • Working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, GPT models) and cloud-based AI solutions (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)

  • Background in data science or machine learning engineering

  • Awareness of AI governance, ethics, and data privacy regulations

  • Experience working for/in a top tier consulting services firm 

  • Experience in selling and/or managing Data / Platform / Analytics / AI /ML type solutions 

  • Experience in managing contractual lifecycles including negotiating MSAs, SoWs and commercial constructs
