Job Summary:
As a Sr.QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by identifying defects, conducting tests, and validating that the software functions as expected. Your expertise in QA methodologies, automation, will be instrumental in shaping our quality strategies and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of test cases, test data for various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, etc.).
- Execute test cases, report defects, and ensure the software meets quality and performance standards.
- Identify, document, and track software defects. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
- Learn and use testing tools and frameworks for test automation, where applicable.
- Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations.
- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases.
- Work closely with developers, other team members to ensure the software's quality and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance and testing best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest testing techniques, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Good understanding of automation tools and frameworks (e.g.bJava,Python, Selenium, restAssured, JUnit, TestNG).
Skills:
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, etc.
- Hands on experience with RESTful API, API Integration Testing automation, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Database.
- Having knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Kibana is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
