Software Engineer II, Digital Success

Qualtrics is seeking a Software Engineer in our Seattle office to assist our Digital Success team in creating a world-class digital-first customer experience. We are a group of talented and passionate engineers who are working on developing new products within the Qualtrics platform that enable advanced customer success capabilities. If you have a Bachelor’s degree, have 3+ years of software engineering experience, and want to work at a fast-growing tech company, Qualtrics could be the place you’ve been dreaming about.

How You’ll Grow



  • Develop the ability to build scalable, fast, robust, and simple SaaS solutions.

  • Develop familiarity with containerization and full-stack development.

  • Learn Agile methodologies by attending daily stand-up meetings, prioritizing tasks, and working with a sense of urgency to meet a scheduled plan to deliver value to our customers.

Things You’ll Do



  • This role will primarily work with Typescript/React/Node/NestJS, as well as Aurora MySQL, Kubernetes, S3, and PHP to develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple web-based solutions to solve complex business problems. Experience with Wordpress and/or Drupal is a plus.

  • Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance.

  • Work closely with and incorporate feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, and product managers.

  • Attend daily stand-up meetings, participate in Ops review, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to customers.


What We’re Looking For On Your Resume



  • Worked with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes, and transform them into exciting end-user features.

  • Developed scalable, fast, robust, and rich web-based solutions to solve complex business problems, using the latest frontend and backend technologies.

  • Strong algorithms, data structures, and coding background.

  • Experience with continuous delivery, git, test automation, and build/deploy systems.

  • Experience building large-scale web applications or distributed services.

  • Experience building high-performance RESTful services.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field

  • 3+ years working in a full-stack web engineering position.

  • The Digital Success engineering team owns a suite of full-stack services that Qualtrics customers rely upon for exceptional self-service product support, license management, and self-learning. The Digital Success engineering team also maintains a large CMS integration that houses the Qualtrics Support knowledge base.

  • Our engineers collaborate closely with their Digital Success team business counterparts to create exceptional digital experiences for our customers. The Digital Success team consists of product managers, content designers, and program managers focused on ensuring our customers have the digital success and networking resources that enable them to maximize the power of the XM Platform.

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered within this range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability, 401(k) with match, paid time off, a wellness reimbursement, mental health benefits, and an experience bonus.
