Who You Are & The Impact You Will Have:
The Rotational Development Program is designed to prepare high potential candidates to take on roles at QTS leading initiatives, teams, or functions. The technology track of the QLDP is a 9 to 18-month program during which participants will go through 3-4 rotations: 1. Data Center Facilities Tech, 2. Product Development & Delivery, 3. Security Operations, and 4. Tech Operations. The participants’s responsibility in each rotation is to develop a solid understanding of the functional area, lead projects, and provide general support to the team they are embedded in. Throughout the program, QTS leadership will work with the participant to identify a role in the technology operations branch that matches their interests, skill set, and QTS needs.
What You Will Do:
Develop solid understanding of the data center industry, QTS product offering, and QTS operating model.
Demonstrate adaptability to evolving technologies and changing business needs by proactively seeking out new solutions and approaches during each rotation.
Show a strong passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning by actively engaging in professional development opportunities and staying current with industry trends.
Balance assigned/directed tasks with self-identified project opportunities.
Lead process improvement initiatives and provide project management support in critical areas of QTS Technology operations.
Form and manage cross-functional project teams to achieve objectives.
Communicate complex technical concepts verbally to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding across diverse audiences.
Regularly present findings to various levels of QTS leadership.
Travel between corporate and team hubs up to 25%
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or related field.
Four or more years of professional experience
US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts
