What’s the opportunity:

The AI Security Lead drives Qoria’s transition to AI-powered defensive security, ensuring our security operations scale at machine speed to meet rapidly escalating AI-enabled threats.

This role leads the design, adoption, and integration of AI-first security platforms, transforms security workflows, and uplifts the capability of the security team so they can orchestrate, oversee, and control AI-driven systems.

It also ensures the safe and responsible use of AI across Qoria through effective posture management, vendor selection, and organisational enablement.

Here’s how you’ll do it:

• Drive Qoria’s AI Security Strategy execution
• Lead the organisation-wide shift toward AI-driven defence 
• Redesign security workflows to reduce manual work and enable machine-speed operations 
• Lead evaluation and selection of AI-first security vendors across SOC, ASM, vulnerability, penetration testing, configuration remediation, and identity 

• Influence vendor roadmaps and assess true AI maturity.
• Own AI-first criteria for vendor renewals and replacements 

• Oversee onboarding, configuration, and integration of AI-enabled security tools.
• Ensure AI capabilities are effectively embedded into:
• • Security Operations
  • Security Engineering
  • Identity and Access workflows
  • Vulnerability and remediation workflows
• Drive the automation pipeline across security services.

• Lead secure AI-use posture across the organisation
• Implement guardrails, monitoring, and controls for enterprise AI use.
• Partner across business units to ensure AI usage is compliant, safe, and risk-managed.

• Deliver targeted training to security teams on using AI tools effectively 
• Embed AI-assisted workflows into daily security activities.
• Support culture change as the security team transitions from manual execution to AI oversight/orchestration.

• Identify opportunities to accelerate security detection, response, and remediation using AI.
• Continuously measure, iterate, and improve the performance of AI-secured workflows.
• Provide expert technical guidance for acquisitions on AI-enabled security vendor consolidation.

What you will bring:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related discipline.
• Certifications in AI, AI security, AI safety, or security engineering

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in security engineering, SOC, threat detection, or cloud security.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled security tools or highly automated defence platforms.
• Strong capability in evaluating security technology and vendor claims.
• Ability to design or orchestrate automated security workflows.
• Deep understanding of modern security operations and cloud security patterns.
• Strong communication and teaching skills for uplifting team capability.
• Ability to operate independently within an emerging and fast-changing domain.
