Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical direction and development of sports facilities and assets, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's vision and strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to create state-of-the-art sports venues.
- Oversee the planning, construction, and commissioning of sports facilities from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant sports codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design and construction processes.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, including local and international sports federations, to ensure facilities meet operational requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and ensure resource allocation to optimize project delivery.
- Establish and maintain best practices in sports asset management, focusing on safety, functionality, and sustainability.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on technical issues and project development.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates and reports on performance and milestones.
- Foster innovation by staying current with the latest trends and technologies in sports facility design and management.
- Support the design and implementation of operational plans for sports activities and events.
- Review and approve design documents, technical specifications, and contractor submissions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
