Summary
Join our Global Supply Planning team and play a key role in shaping efficient supply chain operations across EMEA. In this role, you will drive accurate demand forecasting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and customer needs.
Your Tasks
- You analyze historical sales data and validate demand plans in terms of volumes and values.
- In this role, you align forecasts with financial targets and strategic priorities, considering new product introductions, lifecycle planning and evaluate ABC segmentations.
- You build short- and long-term demand forecasts for all sellable goods in your region using statistical methods and incorporating Sales & Marketing input.
- Leading monthly demand review and consensus meetings with Sales & Marketing is part of your responsibility.
- You monitor and report forecast accuracy KPIs while identifying improvement opportunities.
- Driving process enhancements and implementing best practices in demand planning is a key aspect of your work.
- Collaboration is essential—you work closely with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, and Product Management.
Your Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management (or equivalent experience) and bring at least 3 years of experience in Demand Planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP APO (ideally DP) and IBP is required; knowledge of Qlik or PowerBI is a plus.
- Fluency in English and German is essential for this role.
- Your excellent communication and presentation skills help you succeed in a dynamic environment and to collaborate with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Your pro-active approach enables you to design and drive process improvements.
