Position Description
- Install, maintain and repair a wide variety of industry leading QIAGEN instruments such as the QIAsymphony, QIAcube Connect, EZ2 and QIAcuity Digital PCR systems.
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with QIAGEN customers and internal colleagues.
- Actively promote and sell Field Service products and assist Sales in lead generation using Salesforce CRM software to improve efficiency of repairs and service satisfaction.
- Self-manage stock inventory, test equipment, service reports, vehicle maintenance, and case information.
- Provide cross-border/ district/ region support when required, working as part of the Poland Service Team to provide best in class service to our customers and patients.
- Take ownership of the customers, install base, and service related tasks in region and work alongside dispatch and management teams to ensure all work is planned and completed.
- Provide reports and feedback on service related tasks in the region to management on a regular basis.
Position Requirements
- Previous experience in service or technical support, ideally in a similar role within the Life Science industry (or experience working with scientific instrumentation).
- Very good command of English (spoken and written).
- Technical or scientific background (degree or education) in electronics, biotechnology, or related life sciences, with good understanding of laboratory or analytical equipment.
- Experience working with automation systems will be considered a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Valid driving license.
- Willingness to travel between major cities across Poland from Monday to Friday.
