We offer full-time training, ongoing support, and a rotating weekday roster (8am–8pm) with optional Saturdays —giving you flexibility and work-life balance.

Your new role

A day in the life of an Insurance Specialist may look a bit like this:

  • Sell QBE products and services by delivering excellent customer service and fostering great relationships with customers via inbound calls.
  • Deliver exceptional help to our customers and partners by managing inbound queries, on average 30-50 calls per day.
  • Learn about our insurance portfolios and various partnerships to build strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the growth and retention of business by providing timely and effective solutions that adhere to QBE guidelines.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced customer facing environment, where you will be learning and developing from day 1. Previous experience in a customer service or sales role will be an advantage. You will also have… 

  • Clear, friendly phone manner; able to talk and type simultaneously
  • Strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Quick to learn new systems; confident with computers and numbers
  • Calm and resilient in fast-paced environments
  • Builds rapport easily; delivers timely solutions to diverse customers
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
