About this role
The role is centered on enhancing the operational performance of LNG sales gas and DPSA Operators by applying QatarEnergy’s Asset Management framework. It involves monitoring, analyzing, and benchmarking key performance indicators to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in product yields, energy efficiency, cost optimization, and facility reliability. The position supports the Asset Manager in daily governance and strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving asset management strategy and aligning yearly influencing plans with long-term goals.
- Identifying and implementing performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with OpCos.
- Evaluating budgets and business plans to uncover cost optimization opportunities.
- Promoting sustainability, HSSE enhancements, and operational excellence.
- Reviewing development proposals and leading audits to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Facilitating knowledge transfer and Qatarization through mentoring and training.
- Championing continuous improvement and standardization across ventures.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in oil & gas/downstream industry, out of which minimum of 5 years of experience in LNG plants operation/engineering.
- Deep technical expertise in process engineering elements such as concept selection, process safety, process design & integration, operations support.
Educational Qualifications
B. Sc. Chemical Engineering Degree
