About this role
Focus of the role is on the risk management of activities within QatarEnergy Marketing. Facilitate the development and implementation of the Risk Management framework in QatarEnergy Marketing and as such, support the development and management of Marketing Risk Management activities to drive continuous improvement in the department toward achievement of its objectives.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in either compliance and/or corporate governance related functionality, business reviews, marketing analysis, internal controls, or financial systems;
- Direct experience in Risk management within oil & gas, refining or petrochemicals is preferred.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required in either engineering, statistics (with mathematics), physics, computer science, economics. Strong preference for additional experience in risk management, compliance, or audit activities in the energy, downstream sectors.
- An internationally recognized professional qualification or certification in either finance or risk management is advantageous.
