• Provide legal support for activities related to the marketing of liquids (i.e. crude & other petroleum products), petrochemicals, chemicals & fertilizers, helium and natural gas and its derived products (e.g. ethane, propane, LPG, etc) in QatarEnergy including with respect to the negotiation of all related agreements, the administration of those agreements and the management of all claims and disputes related to the same (“Liquids, Dry Products & Gas Marketing Activities”)
• The Liquids, Dry Products & Gas Marketing section will be required to support all QatarEnergy entities conducting Liquids, Dry Products & Gas Marketing Activities and will also be required to support the Ventures & Business Development division on projects that it is developing and managing, to the extent those projects involve marketing of liquids, dry products & gas products

• JD/LLB (or equivalent) degree at a recognized university
• 10+ years' experience in private practice or in-house, a substantial amount of which is in relation to Liquids, Dry Products & Gas Marketing Activities
• Strong legal (including drafting) skills
• Experience of dealing with regulators and government representatives
• Ability to assimilate complex legal matters and to provide practical advice to non-lawyers
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player. Highly motivated, proactive, organized, and self-disciplined
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 suite of applications
