About this role
Refinery and Chemical Plant units processes are technically complex and given the critical nature of unit operations means significant attention is required by the panel operator on a continuous basis during his duty hours for safe and efficient operation of Refinery and Chemical Plant as QP Refinery and hence assumes strategic importance in the State of Qatar.
The incumbent is required to work in rotating shifts; required to work extended hours as per work requirement.
Required Experience and Skills
- 7 Years of operations experience in relevant units of Refinery / Chemical Plant.
- 2 Years technical training or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of basic arithmetic.
- Solid knowledge of DCS / Panel Operations.
- High level of concentration, anticipation, Surveillance / vigilance, and analysis skills.
- Firefighting/First Aid/BA/H2S training.
- Good oral and reading knowledge of English.
Educational Qualifications
- Higher Secondary Certificate or Equivalent.
