Summary
About this role
Manage the drafting activities of his section and provides technical leadership under the guidance of Head of Design, provide technical direction and leadership to his section within the assigned area of responsibility, during the various stages of Onshore and Offshore Engineering Projects including project initiation, Scope of Work preparation for FEED, ECS, EPIC, Installation and Commissioning. Supervise the performance of his section and ensure that drafting designs are in compliance with applicable Corporate, National and International codes, standards, specifications and procedures.
Required Experience and Skills
- Shall possess multi-discipline engineering knowledge.
- Shall possess sound technical skills and have a thorough knowledge of Industry/ International standards, Shell DEPs and / or QatarEnergy standards.
- 10 years relevant post graduate experience, out of which 6 years in Oil & Gas industry at senior level.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
