As a Purchasing Agent you will be responsible to undertake all daily purchasing administration duties with the objective of efficient execution of purchasing function on operational level. Represents first level of interaction with external suppliers, purchasing drivers and QACC internal users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executes routine purchase orders for daily direct items.
• Coordinates with supplier on order requirement changes (adjustments to delivery times, ordered quantities, cancellations).
• Coordinates with user departments regarding specifications of Ad Hoc orders and substitution proposals.
• Reviews manual purchase requests and communicates the requirements to Purchasing drivers.
• Liaises with local suppliers and retail outlets to source the required products to as per received specifications and with efficient logistics arrangement for timely delivery.
• Follows up supplier's compliance to requirements.
• Reconciles cash invoices and manual purchase requests for Ad Hoc orders.
• Take responsibility for own own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise.
• Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

High School Qualification with Minimum 1 year of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with No prior job-related work experience.

Job Specific Skills:

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Has numeracy skills with good computer knowledge, especially in Outlook and Excel.
• Effective coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
