About this role
As a Product Designer at Qashio, you will contribute to the high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the Product teams, prioritize product features based on user needs, and design beautiful, simple, innovative, and intuitive experiences and flows. Your role will also involve multiple cross-functional responsibilities and you will closely collaborate with the Tech and Commercial teams and take into consideration their internal input as well as feedback from external partners. This role will blend and involve UI design but have a stronger focus on UX.
Responsibilities
Conduct user research, understand needs, behaviors and motivations of users through methods like usability testing, interviews, surveys and observational studies.
Develop user personas, and understand key behavioral attributes and psychographic traits that our users have.
Develop our Information Architecture and so it’s easy for customers to find what they need on mobile and desktop.
Develop wireframes to understand the structure of screens and pages.
Develop clickable prototypes that can be tested with users to generate useful insights for areas to improve.
Conduct design thinking and other user focused workshops to rapidly brainstorm and iterate new features.
Craft and design interactive elements of our product (IXD) to improve how the user feels.
Perform benchmarking and competitor analysis to provide continuous insights into best practices.
Collaborate with product designers and design visual elements, layouts, colors, fonts, typography and imagery.
Collaborate with product managers to help prioritize the most important features our customers care about. Maintain high knowledge on the material UI, human interface guidelines, design systems and ux principles, user research methodologies and techniques.
Create a high performing user interface for the platform and application.
Develop design concepts, low-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for products & websites. Document and maintain user journeys, process flows and sitemaps, making sure that all features work cohesively together to deliver the best customer experience.
Requirements
At least 6 years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer Strong user experience, user interface, and visual design skills.
Passion for interaction design and ability to prototype interactive experiences.
Ability to think at a high level about product strategy.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to argue design biases.
Mastery of Figma and good knowledge of prototyping and user testing tools.
Portfolio of previous designs that demonstrate good visual/graphic design skills, including typography, color, layouts, grids, research methodology, etc.
