Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across the Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.

Basic Employee Responsibilities

Every Q2 ALS employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures.
  • Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment.
  • Being responsible – on time for work, and take breaks during designated times.
  • Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a manager or request for assistance as needed.

Position Specific Responsibilities

  • Pick up & delivery of rod pumps and well-site equipment
  • Load/Unload field trucks and/or 3rd party trucks
    • Stock receiving
    • Manual lifting
    • Use of forklift
    • Spotter/helper for trucking companies
  • Clean & inspect rod pumps & oilfield equipment
    • Use of solvents
    • Use of supplied API approved tools
    • Use of mechanical part washers
  • Assemble & re-assemble rod pumps & oilfield equipment
  • General Administrative Duties
    • Stock orders
    • Computer Use
    • Answering of phones
  • General Shop Duties
    • Washing floors
    • General housekeeping of office space & shop
    • Cleaning of bathrooms
    • Removal of garbage

Required Minimum Qualifications

(Outline the minimum educational & work experience requirements)

 

  • Minimum of a grade 12 education.
  • Oil & Gas experience considered an asset
  • Technical aptitude
  • Valid Driver’s License & Clean abstract
  • Should be proficient in Microsoft programs, (word, excel, and Power point)

 

Physical Demands

(i.e. heavy lifting, long periods on feet, travel, etc.…)

 

  • Travel- pump delivery/pick-ups
  • Standing for up to 8 hours
  • Shop Environment
  • Periodic heavy lifting up to 50lbs

 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
