On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Supervisor
Location: Dodoma
Role Purpose:
A retail supervisor is responsible for managing store operations and staff to ensure smooth, profitable, and customer-focused operations. Ability to guide, motivate, and develop a team of retail employees Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and staff. Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety guidelines
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performance Evaluation:
· Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and coach employees to improve their skills and productivity.
· Tracking sales performance and review targets in alignment with company’s goals.
Motivation:
· Lead, motivate, and foster a collaborative environment to help the team achieve its goals and maintain high performance
· Identify opportunities to increase sales.
· Implement strategies to meet sales targets.
Reporting and Audit:
· weekly and Monthly reports on Sales performance
· weekly and Monthly stock audit reports
· Attendance report for all Sales staff
· Shop visit Summary report
· Keep up with local market trends and competitor activities
Communication and Training:
· Serve as a conduit for information between employees and upper management, relaying company goals, updates, and feedback in both directions.
· Coordinate with other Departments to support smooth operations for Retail shop sales
· Onboard new hires, provide ongoing training, and identify career advancement opportunities for team members.
Requirements
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Sales & Marketing, or Accounting
- 1–4 years of relevant experience
- Basic computer skills
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Willingness to travel.
