Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Report discharges in a timely manner to ensure clients have scripts, meds, etc. Identify and assume responsibility for high risk clients.
- On call as needed, cover shifts as needed, prioritizing and organizing the shift, assist in scheduling Involved in chart monitor-identify and carry out action plans.
- Review MAR to ensure completeness.
- Review detox protocols and length of stay.
- Assist in responding to client grievances and incident reports.
- Assist Nurse Manager in interviewing and the disciplinary process.
- Direct report to Nurse Manager.
- Providing sample meds, coordinate with pharmacy to ensure client needs are being met in a cost-effective manner.
- Assist in prior authorization. Ensure labs are being addressed, review and sign lab-work, obtain and transcribing of physician orders.
- Ensure HCG results are obtained before starting any meds.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience:
- Current CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid required.
- One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred.
- Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.

What you'll do
- The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for reporting discharges, managing high-risk clients, and assisting in scheduling and shift organization. They also review medical records and protocols, respond to grievances, and support the Nurse Manager in various administrative tasks.
