Pyramid Healthcare's government relations department is seeking a motivated student to aid in department projects for Summer 2026. 


Location: Mostly remote but with a potential opportunity to work in Eastern PA, Maryland, and/or Washington D.C.  


Schedule: This will be a part time opportunity about 15-20hrs per week. 


Compensation: $15.00/hr.


Intern duties will include:



  • Updating our Legislative/Regulatory Contacts Database

  • Entering meetings and actions into PolicyNote

  • Producing/Updating PolicyNote Reports for Compliance Department to assist with regulatory implementation projects.

  • Help preparing lobbying registration reports and disclosures and PAC filings with outside counsel.

  • Assisting with trade association membership applications and renewals

  • Researching policy issues and topics

  • Reviewing proposed bills and regulations during legislative sessions

  • Project managing/helping write and research regulatory comment letters and legislative testimony

  • Scheduling meetings and politician site visits to Pyramid facilities.

  • Creating and updating collateral materials

  • Other duties assigned


Qualifications:



  • Candidates must be enrolled in a college or university masters program at the time of application. 

  • Knowledge of state laws and mandates as it relates to the healthcare industry

  • Technologically proficient Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  • Effective problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities.

  • Professional, consistent, and ethical in all interactions.
