Under a passionate leadership team and committed support staff we assist our clients in reclaiming freedom. We are currently seeking a Counselor to help guide our clients in their recovery journey. Schedule: M-F with 3 evenings a week
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
- Assists facilities in the overall function of daily schedule including but not limited to: assessment, intakes, clinical services, adolescent SAP programming, prevention opportunities, front office tasks, transportation services.
- Provides individual and group therapy to individuals served in treatment, working with both adolescent and adult population.
- Clerical duties as required for maintenance of client files.
- Initiates and develops client treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues, and other staff.
- Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and family members.
- Conducting Insurance
- Reviews including documenting and handling co-pays.
- Administers individual sessions including paperwork and assignments.
- Responsible for intake process with new clients into program.
- Facilitate programs as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience:
Must meet one of the following:
- A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field) or other related field.
- A Bachelor’s Degree with the same educational requirements and 1 year of clinical experience.
- Bilingual/Spanish speaker preferred.

What you'll do
- The Counselor assists in the daily operations of the facility, providing individual and group therapy to clients. They also handle intake processes and develop treatment planning goals.
