We offer services in psychiatry, addiction recovery, and mental disorder treatment, enabling clients to reclaim health and well-being at every stage of recovery or rehabilitation. We are hiring for a Cook at our facility in East Stroudsburg, PA. Join a team that supports your growth from Day One, with opportunities to advance and explore different departments.
Shift:
11:00am - 7:00pm
Pay:
$15/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Slice and chop food according to meal requirements
- Prepare salads and portion desserts into containers
- Stock juices and milk, and assist the Lead Cook when needed
- Serve meals to clients and ensure timely placement of food on the serving line
- Follow assigned menu using sanitary guidelines
- Restock cups, napkins, forks, and spoons as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- Clean table tops and dining area after each meal
- Record daily temperatures of the refrigeration system and food
- Perform cleaning duties assigned by supervisor, including sweeping and mopping
- Accept food deliveries and check in orders correctly
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous food preparation experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and ability to operate kitchen equipment preferred
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
