The Director of Rooms is a senior leader responsible for the strategic oversight and operational excellence of Front Office, Reservations, and Housekeeping at Dellshire Resort. This role plays a critical part in shaping the guest experience while driving room revenue performance, labor optimization, and cost controls.

With a strong background in revenue management and hotel operations, the Director of Rooms partners closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, and Engineering to ensure seamless execution, pre-opening readiness, and ongoing performance aligned with brand standards and ownership expectations.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Operations

  • Provide executive leadership for Front Office, Reservations, and Housekeeping teams, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and engagement
  • Lead departmental pre-opening efforts including SOP development, staffing plans, training programs, and systems implementation
  • Ensure consistent delivery of elevated guest service standards across all Rooms functions
  • Establish clear performance expectations, coaching plans, and development pathways for department leaders

Revenue & Financial Performance

  • Leverage revenue management expertise to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR through collaboration with Revenue Management and Sales teams
  • Analyze booking trends, forecasting data, and demand patterns to optimize staffing, inventory, and pricing strategies
  • Partner with Finance to develop and manage departmental budgets, labor forecasts, and expense controls
  • Monitor operational KPIs including labor productivity, housekeeping efficiency, guest satisfaction scores, and cost per occupied room

Guest Experience & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee guest arrival, departure, and stay experience, ensuring seamless coordination between Front Office and Housekeeping
  • Address and resolve escalated guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Ensure brand, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met or exceeded
  • Champion guest feedback initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Systems, Compliance & Collaboration

  • Oversee Rooms-related systems including PMS, housekeeping management tools, and reservation platforms
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, HR, and Food & Beverage to support overall resort operations

What are we looking for?

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive hotel leadership experience, with direct oversight of Rooms operations
  • Strong revenue management background with demonstrated success driving room revenue and operational efficiency
  • Pre-opening or large-scale resort experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of hotel PMS systems, forecasting tools, and labor management platforms
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills
