This position is responsible for servicing kitchen exhaust systems by removing grease that has accumulated inside the ducts, hoods, fans and vents of exhaust systems of commercial kitchens.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • The set-up and take-down of equipment, including hanging plastic sheeting, mixing chemicals, setting up ladders, wet/dry vacuums, pre-sprayers, garden hoses, and high-pressure hoses

  • Power wash commercial kitchen exhaust systems to include hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans per company and industry standards while protecting customers’ facility and equipment.

  • Pre-scrape greasy buildup from affected areas of kitchen exhaust systems

  • Final clean-up in kitchens by wiping down the hoods, mopping up the floors, etc.

  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Education/Qualification:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial cleaning required.

  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Willing and able to travel when needed

Other Duties:

  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.

  • The work also requires the following physical abilities in order to perform the essential job functions: balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.
