As a Workday consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing a broad range of consulting services across various Workday applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Workday applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Workday Payroll, Time tracking and Absence Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understand customer Payroll, Time tracking, Absence and broader business requirements and how they align to Workday functionality
Plan and design the best and most optimal solution for the client. Leverage best practices and oversee design touchpoints with other functional areas of Workday
Working with our team, lead the configuration of the designed Workday solution to meet the customers’ Payroll, Time tracking, Absence related and broader business requirements
Participate in sales cycles in estimating project costs and efforts, participate at Orals and finalize SOWs
Lead initiatives to develop and improve the practice
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve:
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization
Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills with an interest in learning and figuring out how things work
Demonstrated experience in Payroll, Time tracking and Absence in a Consulting role
Experience leading client workshops and the ability to deal with ambiguity
Minimum of 4 Full Implementation cycles and technical support experience for an HCM / Payroll Management Solution
You can prioritize and focus on what is important and you are passionate about doing brilliant work
You demonstrate the ability to drive cross functionality complexity and stretch Workday to its configuration limits
You learn and develop new skills at a ferocious pace, with a client-first approach
You demonstrate the ability to manage / rescue difficult situations with clients and team with a constructive mindset
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
This position may require some travel (10%)
When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset

The salary range for this position is $168,000 - $218,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
