As a Senior Associate in our Oracle Application Evolution Services practice, you will play a key functional role supporting clients across their Oracle Cloud Financials applications. You will be responsible for resolving functional issues, executing enhancements, supporting quarterly updates, and ensuring day-to-day system stability. You will work directly with client stakeholders and collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality, SLA-driven support.
As a Finance Functional Lead, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
Serve as a functional lead for Oracle Cloud Financials support requests across core modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Expense Management.
Working in a team environment with people from multiple backgrounds and skill sets and be a part of the Incident, Problem, Change and Release management processes as required
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, data discrepancies, configuration issues, and month-end/year-end functional problems.
Support enhancements by gathering requirements, performing impact analysis, designing configurations, documenting solutions, and executing testing.
Assist clients in understanding new Oracle Cloud features released with quarterly updates; perform regression testing and coordinate remediation activities.
Work with technical consultants on integrations, reports (BI Publisher, OTBI), and data loads (FBDI) to support business needs and issue resolution.
Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, configuration notes, and knowledge-base articles.
Participate in client meetings, providing clear updates, advisory guidance, and functional insight and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation opportunities, and reusable assets.
Support compliance and controls processes, ensuring accurate financial results and alignment with accounting policies.
Mentor junior team members as needed and support cross-functional collaboration with SCM, and technical teams.
Supporting business development efforts, including fostering professional relationships in industry and preparing responses to requests for proposals
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Extensive years of experience with Oracle Financials (Cloud preferred; EBS experience acceptable with Cloud transition exposure).
Strong functional understanding of core financial processes: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses, and subledger accounting.
Proven ability to support or implement Oracle Cloud Financials in managed-services, production-support, or consulting environments.
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving functional issues related to configurations, accounting entries, data flows, and integration points.
Familiar with technical components such as FBDI templates, report layouts, accounting rules, and approval workflows.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on detail, accuracy, and compliance.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with finance teams, IT stakeholders, and technical specialists.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in an SLA-driven environment and consistently deliver results.
Interest in upskilling for digital trends, openness to new tools and approaches, and commitment to diversity and collaboration.

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
