As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a SAP Delivery Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for solution strategy and project delivery as an SAP Delivery Lead

  • Leverage your industry depth and knowledge of key trends, emerging technologies and leading practices to provide strategic technology guidance to our asset intensive clients (Utility, Energy, Mining and Manufacturing) clients as it relates to SAP S/4 modernization.

  • You will serve as a trusted advisor to SVP IT/CIO roles building and maintaining relationships with these leaders in order for our recommendations to be accepted by business executives

  • Providing leadership to manage SAP S.4 implementations for client

  • Identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection

  • Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation

  • Evaluate and assess complex technology application ecosystems and architectures, considering solution options and recommending implementation approaches. Develop comprehensive roadmaps that align with business goals and drive digital transformation initiatives across Utility clients. Building business models into technical models and architectures to guide implementation teams

  • Experience developing strategy; as well as writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management such as presentation slides; practice marketing materials; change management plans and/or project plans; workshops and whitepapers; practice methodologies and tools; policies and procedures; and/or other standard business communications

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Strong experience in leading large SAP programs delivering business outcomes for client

  • Strong experience developing scalable and robust SAP integration strategies in a hybrid IT landscape

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP application solutions with at least two end to end SAP S/4 HANA implementation project on premise and Cloud edition

  • Hands on knowledge and experience with proven ability in SAP application integration architecture, standards and governance policies of integration, related patterns/activities/scenarios for on-premise and Cloud based applications

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard

The salary range for this position is $191,200 - $241,200 The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.  We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
