About this role

A career in our Chief Data and Analytics Office (“CDAO”) within PwC’s Business Enablement team will provide you with the opportunity to leverage innovative solutions to enable data-driven decision making for our organization. We are dedicated to helping our leaders transform data into actionable insights through reporting, dashboards, and other data products. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of dashboards and reporting tools. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Sales & Marketing, Human Capital, and other parts of the business to support our developers and project team members to ensure that our dashboards meet the strategic needs of our leadership and drive informed decision-making.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of 

As a Data and Product Analyst at the Senior Associate level, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to gather requirements, collect feedback, and align priorities to create a strong product backlog with support from portfolio lead 

  • Transform business problems into thoughtfully designed solutions mock-ups and clear technical requirements in partnership with the portfolio lead 

  • Document business requirements and create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications to guide development and testing 

  • Perform initial data analysis to assess project feasibility and provide actionable feedback for developers, working closely with the development team to ensure design and development outputs meet key business objectives 

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and internal quality assurance (QA) to ensure deliverables meet high standards 

  • Review development outputs, support QA and UAT, and derive key insights to benefit stakeholders 

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve 

  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and delivering client services 

  • Background as a Business Analyst or in a data-focused environment is highly valued 

  • Degree or certification in Business or a related field; CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) certification is an asset 

  • Strong expertise in data product development, data visualization, data platforms (e.g., Databricks), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) 

  • Ability to communicate complex analytics and insights to senior stakeholders in a clear, user-friendly manner 

  • Proven skill in translating technical requirements into actionable business insights and vice versa 

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and relevant tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Asana) in fast-paced, iterative environments 

  • Proficient in SQL, data querying, and basic data modeling concepts 

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a focus on understanding root causes 

  • Planning, organizational, and project coordination abilities to ensure timely, high-quality results

The salary range for this position is $69,600 - $116,100. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.  We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
