Heartline Staffing, strategic talent partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager and Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to support hospital pharmacy services within a community hospital environment.
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, staffing workflows, scheduling, and distributive functions while ensuring safe, effective, and compliant pharmaceutical care. The Pharmacy Operations Manager will collaborate closely with pharmacy administration and interdisciplinary teams across the health system and may perform clinical pharmacist duties as needed.
This position offers the opportunity to lead pharmacy operations while contributing directly to patient-centered pharmaceutical care in a collaborative hospital setting.

Monday through Friday
Day shift
Manager on-call responsibilities
Rotating major and minor holidays
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $51.92 to $83.07 based on experience.
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Advanced degree or ASHP-accredited residency preferred but not required
Licensure:
- Active Virginia Pharmacist license or eligible for licensure by reciprocity within 90 days
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of institutional pharmacy operations
- Ability to manage workflows, staffing, and scheduling
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to perform clinical pharmacist duties as needed
