Heartline Staffing, strategic talent partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity critical care team in Ocala, Florida.
The MICU Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in alignment with professional nursing standards and departmental guidelines. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver individualized treatment plans that support optimal clinical outcomes.
The MICU RN serves as a patient and family advocate, delivers evidence-based care, and supports continuous quality improvement initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment and are committed to clinical excellence and professional growth.
Available Shift:
Night shift with rotating weekends
Compensation:
Hourly pay based on experience:
$30.60 – $45.90 per hour
Shift Differentials:
$4.25 per hour for nights
$3.00 per hour for weekends
Sign-On Bonus:
$15,000 for Night shift
Relocation assistance is available on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
Licensure:
- Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact RN license required
- Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years
- ICU or higher-acuity experience preferred
- Strong Med/Surg candidates considered
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS required within 90 days of hire
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage complex, critically ill patients
