About this role

YOUR MISSION

The IT Administrator supports the business’ IT needs across head office ,retail stores and warehouse operations. The role ensures business continuity through effective firstline support, troubleshooting, device maintenance and operational assistance. This position plays a key part in reducing downtime, supporting infrastructure and contributing to new implementations under the guidance of senior team members.

KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Support:

  • Provide first‑line support to retail, warehouse and head office users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows OS, networks, digital signage and fibre services.
  • Support VoIP, MS Teams, Teams Rooms and Teams calling devices.
  • Assist with CCTV and access control system basics (training provided).

Network:

  • Assist with installation of network switches and basic VLAN adjustments (guided by senior team).
  • Perform LAN patching, cable management and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Support installation of Wi‑Fi access points.
  • Liaise with ISPs for follow‑ups and fault escalation.

Retail & Warehouse Operational Support

  • Provide on‑site and remote support for:
  • Retail POS system
  • Warehouse handheld scanners
  • ECOM packing stations (NAS/PPS)
  • Basic monitoring of conveyor‑related systems
  • Assist during store visits, rollouts or revamps.

Administration:

  • Load purchase orders; manage incoming/outgoing IT equipment.
  • Maintain documentation of systems and update SOPs as required.
  • Assist with asset tracking and inventory management

Project Support

  • Attend project meetings with senior team members.
  • Assist with equipment preparation, documentation and rollout tasks.
  • Track project requirements and support delivery within timelines.

YOUR TALENT

Educational Qualification: Matric and Diploma or Certification in IT related Field ( A+ N+ and MCSE /MCIPT

Professional Experience: Industry: Head Office, Retail, Warehouse

Functional: Desktop and network support. Retail and/or warehouse support experience. New systems implementations. Hardware/software troubleshooting.

IT Skills: 3 Years first line desktop Support, 1 Year Server Management, 1 Year Retail Support (can be simultaneous)

Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English
