[What the role is]
The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment.We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of the team that processes and approves the structural plans and calculations of the buildings submitted by Professional Engineers and Accredited Checkers.
You are required to perform audit checks on selected structures, conduct construction site checks and take proactive actions to prevent damages to adjacent properties.
You are also expected to investigate into complaints on buildings that are dangerous and assess their structural integrity and safety.
You will also be involved in the review of policies and regulations related to the safety of the Built Environment.
[What we are looking for]
A degree in civil and structural engineering.
At least 4 years of working experience in structural design and analysis of buildings or infrastructures.
Passed the Practice of Professional Engineering Examination (PPE), and preferably a registered professional engineer with Professional Engineers Board Singapore.

What you'll do
