[What the role is]
You will be part of a team in the Corporate Services Department responsible for the planning, operation, maintenance, improvement and upgrading of building, mechanical and electrical facilities in MAS. The objective is to achieve and maintain a conducive work environment and reliable building services to support MAS businesses in an efficient, cost effective and environmentally sustainable manner.[What you will be working on]
Your job scope shall include developing and implementing maintenance programs, planning and managing building infrastructure renewal intiatives and projects, ensuring compliance with building regulation and codes, engaging both internal and external stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, preparing tender specifications and document, evaluating tenders for award, managing contracts and contractors, attending to building issues and emergencies, ensuring high reliability and availability in building services, managing mission critical building infrastuctures and systems, business continuity planning, tracking and reporting building operation carbon emissions and implementing environmental sustainability initiatives and programs. In addition, you will be part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) and responsible in responding and managing incipient fires in the building.
[What we are looking for]
5 to 15 years of experience in facilities management
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Certified GreenMark Professional and/or GreenMark Facilities Manager
Knowledge in building systems and services e.g. power distribution, central air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, fire protection, building automation system and environment sustainability
Good organizational, interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills
Good team player
Experience in the use of Data Analytic in facilities management work
