Onshape, a PTC SaaS business, consists of 100+ very talented and passionate engineers working on the Onshape service. Join us to help engineering companies transition to SaaS and build products we all love and use every day.

We are looking for a motivated Android Developer to join our Mobile Development team. As part of our Android team, you will work closely with senior engineers, and designers to build high-quality, intuitive, and reliable native Android applications

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android features using Java / Kotlin.
• Collaborate with senior developers to design clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Implement UI screens using Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
• Debug, test, and optimize the app for performance and stability across different devices.
• Integrate REST APIs, Web Socket messages to handle data from our servers.
• Work with Git-based workflows and contribute to continuous integration processes.
• Assist in writing unit tests and instrumentation tests to ensure stable production releases.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver polished, user-centric experiences.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of Android development experience.
• With Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Java and/or Kotlin.
• Basic knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and core Android concepts.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience with version control (Git, GitHub).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Material Design guidelines.
• Experience with Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, Firestore).
• Familiarity with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso, Robotism etc.
