Your Responsibilities as an Athletic Trainer
- Seasonal position: April-September (Not including play-offs. Approximately 6 months)
- Expected to travel with the team to away games
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
- Orthopedic assessments and documentation
- Counseling on concussions, nutrition, mental health, etc.
- Coordinated stakeholder communication, e.g., MD, PT, PSC, etc.
- Field and venue setup
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in athletic training
- State licensure and certified by the American Board of Certification
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association

What you'll do
- The athletic trainer will establish timely treatment plans for athletes and demonstrate positive connections with patients and team members. They will also be responsible for orthopedic assessments, counseling on various health topics, and coordinating communication with stakeholders.
