Program Overview

The Merdeka Young Talent Program (MYTP) is a one-year full-time program designed to provide recent graduates with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and develop their skills in the mining industry. This program aims to attract and nurture young talents who are passionate about the mining industry and are eager to learn and grow with us.

Job Description

As a participant of the MYTP, you will be exposed to various aspects of our business, including exploration, project development, and operations. You will work closely with our experienced team members and be given hands-on training and mentoring to develop your technical and soft skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in on-the-job training and learning activities, including fieldwork, workshops, and classroom training.
• Support and assist in various projects and tasks related to exploration, project development, and operations.
• Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve project goals.
• Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Min. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geodesy Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Geophysical Engineering, Geophysical Engineering, Marine Science, Public Health, Accounting, Biology, or related fields.
• Min. GPA 3.30 out of 4.00.
• Max. 3 years of working experiences.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Strong interest in the mining industry and willingness to learn.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to be placed in remote areas and work in a challenging environment.
