Job Description

As a QA Engineer  you'll play a crucial role in this process, working alongside development teams to identify and resolve issues before software is released to end-users. 

Full-time permanent employment in Estonia

You will: 

  • Create test plans and test cases for information systems 
  • Perform testing of in-house built systems and off-the-shelf software  
  • Participate in the validation and change control processes of in-house built systems and off-the-shelf software  
  • Perform the actions necessary to ensure quality control of information systems 
  • Report and tracks defects and issues in the ticketing system 
  • Follow the internal quality control processes and procedures 
  • Plan and coordinates testing activities 
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met 
  • Follow the development of information technologies quality control and advance professional skills as may be necessary 
  • Participate in developing and implementation of testing processes 
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents for information systems 
  • Review code to ensure quality standards are met 
  • Design and develops automation test scripts 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that presents the required knowledge, skills and abilities 
  • 2 years’ experience in software testing and/or software quality assurance  
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server system  
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes  
  • Familiar with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.  
  • Experience with Playwright, Azure DevOps is a plus 
  • Full working proficiency in English 
  • Experience in IT systems development is a plus  
  • Experience in systems validation is a plus
