About this role

JOB PURPOSE:

Provides clerical support to the assigned executive leaders.  Acts as an additional resource for the Executive Assistant to the CEO, other administrative personnel and executives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.   Greets and directs visitors and associates appropriately and in a friendly and helpful manner.

2.   Answers a high volume of telephone calls in a friendly and helpful manner and directs calls in an efficiently and timely.

3.   Able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the center / organization.

4.   Able to take minutes for executive meetings & type corresponding reports.

5.   Performs administrative type duties (i.e. typing, filing, copying, sorting mail, calculations, etc.) as requested by supervisor.

6.   Able to assist executives in administrative functions.

7.   Working knowledge of Microsoft suite products.

8.   Ability to work in a team environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

    Should have knowledge of computers, office machines, equipment, and various business application software

    Participate in center/agency surveys (Licensure / JCAHO) and any subsequently required reports.

    Attend and participate in continuing educational programs to keep abreast of changes in your field as well as to maintain current license/certification, as required.

    Attend and participate in mandatory in-services.

    Honor patients/residents’ rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints.

   Comply with corporate compliance program.

    Follow established safety regulations, to include fire protection & prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc.

    Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.

    Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.



MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a related field or two (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an executive or administrative assistant supporting a

member of the executive leadership team.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

None

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
