Trinity Terrace is looking for a Set Up Coordinator

9 am - 2:30 pm approx. Tuesday - Saturday 

 

Pay: $15.00 to $17.00 / hr DOE

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Set up and tear down event rooms by completing all scheduled setups, placing linens, arranging chairs, emptying trash, removing extra equipment, maintaining room presentation, transporting linens to and from laundry, and resetting spaces for upcoming events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in event areas, the Servery, and common spaces by keeping supplies stored properly, removing clutter, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring rooms and the front desk area remain presentable at all times.
  • Coordinate with RS staff regarding setup concerns, overlapping events, after‑hours needs, and quick turnarounds; request assistance when needed to ensure timely and accurate room preparation.
  • Provide resident assistance between setups and deliveries by responding to requests, helping with tables and chairs for private events, completing tasks within 24 hours, and communicating regularly via phone, text, and email.
  • Manage table and chair inventory by keeping storage areas clean, labeling and tracking items through a sign‑out system, ensuring proper return and storage, and maintaining all folding tables, card tables, and chairs.
  • Support White Elephant operations by assisting with purchases, moving donations, setting up and tearing down sale tables, and preparing Wednesday morning setups in advance of Friday sales.
  • Organize and deliver packages by sorting incoming items, identifying unknown packages, delivering to authorized residents, notifying others via delivery cards, maintaining a clean Package Room, delivering birthday flowers and treats, and safely lifting up to 70 lbs. (or 100 lbs. with assistance).
