The Clinical Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator (RN) is responsible for conducting medical record reviews to evaluate compliance to accreditation standards, and data abstraction to capture clinical performance required for federal quality and patient safety initiatives reporting. Proactively accesses information pertaining to, and monitors timelines for compliance with, state and federal quality reporting requirements. Responsible for abstracting the data needed to meet these initiatives. Responsible for concurrent medical record reviews, audits and data abstraction to ensure documentation provides an accurate representation of the patient's clinical care is conducted regularly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training and Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License 
  • 3 years of RN experience in healthcare.
  • Experience working with electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience coordinating quality improvement initiatives.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
