ProHealth Care’s Big Bend Road Clinic is hiring a Clinical Support Associate to support Dr. Marx, one of our high-volume primary care providers. Patients are typically scheduled every 15 minutes, but you won’t be doing it alone, Dr. Marx works with two full-time clinical support team members, creating a strong, collaborative care model that keeps the day running smoothly.

Schedule That Works for Real Life

  • Monday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Thursday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • No nights, weekends, or holidays -Some flexibility with start times may be available based on candidate needs - Apply and discuss!

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll stay engaged and hands-on throughout the day while supporting excellent patient care:

  • Room patients and obtain vitals efficiently in a fast-paced clinic flow

  • Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures as needed

  • Administer injections and vaccines per scope and training

  • Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, medication reconciliation, and refill support as applicable

  • Document accurately and efficiently in Epic

  • Partner closely with Dr. Marx and the clinical team to anticipate needs and keep visits on track

  • Create a welcoming, calm experience for patients despite a busy schedule

This role is ideal for a MA who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in keeping things organized, and wants to feel supported while making a real impact each day.

What You Will Do:

  • Patient Care: Prepare exam rooms by setting up equipment and supplies, following standard workflows to prepare patients for provider exams, obtaining vital signs, verifying health histories, and documenting accurately in the EMR.
  • Clinical Support: Administer medications and vaccinations, assist with procedures, set up sterile fields, collect specimens, perform Point of Care testing, and provide therapeutic treatments under provider direction.
  • Room & Supply Maintenance: Clean and restock exam rooms after each patient, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Communication & Coordination: Answer patient calls, report test results, and relay medical information as directed.
  • Urgent Response: Assist in responding to urgent clinical situations and support the maintenance of medications, vaccines, and equipment for the clinic.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or equivalent clinical training program.
