About this role

We Are Hiring: Administrative Coordinator- WMH PPAC- 0.9 FTE 

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday position with hours of operation between 0500 and 1630. Position will work 8-hour shifts, with typical mix of early morning shifts from 0500-1330 and 0730-1600.

 

In a single day, staff from 4 specialty based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, to Plastic Surgery. Waukesha Memorial Hospitals Operating Rooms average 8,500 procedures annually including Da Vinci Robotic procedures performed within more specialties routinely than any other facility in SE Wisconsin.  The OR suite also includes a Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room.

 

What You Will Do:

Position will support patient admission to day surgery department as well as clerical duties in supporting the pre procedure assessment center, contacting patients, making appointments, and gathering information from Epic.

 

What You Will Need:

High School Diploma- or equivalent

Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care quality standards, health insurance verification, regulatory compliance standards, and Electronic health records (EHR) software.

Knowledge of medical reimbursement helpful.

Work performed requires Excel, Outlook, other Microsoft Office Suite applications, Epic, Kronos, and SharePoint skills.
